Leavening Community Primary School is a group 1 Local Education Authority School administered by North Yorkshire County Council whose central offices are at Northallerton. The school, established in 1906 and extended in 1964, 2003 and 2007, takes in children of all abilities from 3 - 11 years of age. The catchment area includes the villages of Acklam, Leppington, Scrayingham, Howsham and Thixendale as well as Leavening. Our nursery operates five mornings a week with a creche one afternoon a week.
